Using a tube of Pillsbury Croissant dough, it was a little tricky getting 2 of the triangles into circle shapes- but it can be done!
Fill with pizza sauce, cheese and any pizza topping.
My Pizza Sauce:
1 c. Spaghetti sauce
2 t. Italian seasoning
Then fold the empanada maker in half. Because there used to be 2 triangles there might be small holes where the seams were. If so it will get a little messy, but still turns out!
Bake at 350 until golden.
The croissant dough makes the pizza pocket nice and light and flaky. My family loved them!
