Mega Bloks

I was given the opportunity to review the Thomas & Friends Sodor Search & Rescue set.

My boys have loved playing with this set!  One thing they love to do is look at the pictures from the box as well as the ones that came with the set and try to duplicate them.  They have also had fun creating their own versions of the set.

One thing we learned with this set is that because of the box's unique lid (made to build the blocks on) you have to put the parts inside the box in a certain way to get the lid on right.  We found by placing the largest parts in first and in the middle that worked best.  Before we figured this out it was a little frustrating for one of my boys, but now he knows how to put them in it's fine.

It's neat to be able to build on the lid and even the box turned upside down!  It's like adding 2 large blocks to the set.

    I follow on gfc agatewood1 and I love MEGA bloks because they are so durable not to mention the pieces are larger than Legos having 2 toddlers in the house we always buy Mega! My (almost) 2 yr old would love this Thomas set! Thanks for the chance!

    I am now following your blog! I LOVE Mega bloks, because I don't have to worry about little hands getting them in their little mouths. I also love that they are easy to use for my little inventors! :)

    I love the MEGA bloks because they are durable and even my youngest Nephew can play with them because there are not a ton of tiny pieces!

    I follow your blog via Goggle Friend Connect. I love Mega Blocks my son got his first set on his first Christmas & he is now 3. They are very durable & I don't have to worry about him putting them in his mouth. I also don't have to search for tiny pieces all over the house.

    I follow your blog on GFC, What I like about the blocks are that they are not small enough to choke on and wipe off easy! They stick together unlike the "Other" brand and are not out of price range for me!

    I actually love Mega Bloks because they are so much easier for my grandkids to use...they are easy to handle and not so tiny that I end up stepping on them...Mega Bloks are a great addition to grandma's toy box.

    I love mega blocks because I have a 3 yr old autistic son and almost 14 month old twins and they are nice and big for all the kids to play with and they love them, and I love them because I cannot lose them in the couch, behind the fridge, under the tv....
