Cornbread Sauce

This is a sweet sauce we always have over cornbread, you can also serve it over pancakes ,carrot cake, waffles etc.  It's best when it's warm.


1 c. whipping cream


½ c. butter

1 c. sugar

1 t. vanilla

Stir first 3 in a sauce pan over low heat until sugar dissolved. DO NOT BOIL! Cool slightly, add vanilla. Blend in blender on low speed for 30 seconds-1 minute. Serve warm on cornbread, waffles, French toast, pancakes, carrot cake, and plum pudding.
