The other night we improvised and made a vegetarian dinner. We usually eat a lot of veggies but it was nice to find something that didn't revolve around meat for dinner.
This is just to show how easily you can improvise and change up any recipe a little to create a whole new idea.
All this was is my Homemade Rice-A-Roni (click for recipe)
And I added peas and carrots- and Walla! A Vegetarian Dinner!
One thing I've learned about making the homemade rice-a-roni is to keep tasting it for doneness since the rice seems to take the longest to cook through. Add more water as needed until the rice is tender.
