I love finding copycat recipes of things at my favorite restaurants! Since our move in April we are no longer close to a Chili's when I saw this copycat recipe for their queso I was thrilled! I made a few adjustments from the original recipe and my family all loved it.
I got the original recipe here from High Heels & Grills.
It was pretty simple- here's my version.
16 oz Velveeta cheese cut into cubes
1 can Hormel chili with no beans
1 t. chili powder
1/2 t. cumin
1 cup whole milk
Juice from 1 small lime
Cook on medium until cheese is melted (about 15-20 mins) and serve! We had it with the thin and crispy chips like Chili's has.
