This is the baby doll diaper bag I made for Addie for Christmas this year. It was so easy! Seriously once you learn how to make a basic messenger bag you can make all kinds of bags! Even if you're a beginner sewer. Here's the instructions and more pictures-

The only thing I did different was to not put a flap to go over the top, and I sewed the straps on the front and back instead of one long one attaching at the sides.
The instructions for the messenger bag works for any size bag. This bag was 8" tall by 12" wide, so my side panel of fabric was 28" long and I just cut it about 3-4" wide (what looked good to me, I didn't measure it)
Once I had the bag sewn together and turned right side out I sewed some cute lace embellishment around the top.
Inside the bag I put the blanket, diapers and burp cloths I sewed for her baby.
