Chateau La Mason Review

Since I do a lot of reviews for my readers, and that will soon include travel reviews, I figured this morning I would review my bath experience at the Chateau La Mason (aka my house).  Apparently at the Chateau La Mason you are given a "bath attendant".  My attendant was a sweet young thing that goes by the name of Addie.  Although I could tell she could use a bath herself and her hair wasn't even brushed for the day yet, her smile and happy attitude with willingness to help made those things easy to overlook.
My bath experience started as most do. Going into the bathroom and getting undressed.  Although it was quite obvious the maid service hadn't visited the bathroom this morning, I was tired and sore and just wanted to relax so I let it slide.

It wasn't too long after I was in the bathroom and getting undressed that the bath attendant came in and announced that I was "naked".  Maybe her other customers bathe with their clothes on? She then left the bathroom saying something but I couldn't make out what.  As I settled into the bath while it filled with some nice warm water the attendant returned and offered me a glass of milk.  She seemed upset when I told her no thank you and it was obvious there was a problem to be solved.

After making a few suggestions we narrowly avoided an emotional upset as I suggested she pour the milk into her cereal she had on the table.  This suggestion seemed to please her and she happily went to do so.

I was only able to relax for a minute as the attendant promptly returned with an empty cup and before I could say or do anything she dipped it into the bath letting a little of the milk add to my bath water.  Maybe that was the problem, maybe she offers some sort of milk therapy or bath salt and just had too much in the cup.  Either way, she then proceeded to pour water from the cup onto my feet and legs.  It did feel kind of like a massage so I didn't object.

She was polite and even said "you're welcome" when I thanked her, and if I forgot to thank her she would remind me to say "thank you" every few minutes during her "massage".  She must have a short attention span however because it soon started to be less of a massage and look a lot more like she was just playing with the water as she poured it from the edge of the bath and not even onto my leg.  Even though she told me a number of times that she would do it just "one more time" it continued for a few minutes.  Maybe it was her way of providing jets in the bath.

In her distraction she accidentally knocked a cup of water onto the floor. But I was pretty impressed at how she quickly cleaned it up with a towel and informed me that it was "all better" now.  As I was ready to get out of the bath she seemed a little upset that the water was draining, but when I told her I was getting out she took the news well.

When it was obvious that her services were no longer needed she left the bathroom and informed me that she would be going back to finish her breakfast.

During my bath experience music was provided by Scamper the dog and Isabella which included numbers such as "whine at the door" and "crying in my swing".

Overall my experience was somewhat rushed.  It was more entertaining than relaxing.  If you're looking for an entertaining bath the Chateau La Mason is the place to go.  However I hear their services are only offered to VIP clients such as myself so don't get your hopes up.
