This year as part of my personal development goals I want to read a handful of books. So I've made a book bucket list. Although I listen to the audio book "Think and Grow Rich" when I have quiet time (yea, that's why I'm still not finished with it haha) I want to get in a better habit this year of reading more often. And no, facebook, and social media does not "count". I'm talking about reading things that will inspire and motivate me to be a better person, and things that will teach me something new.
Some of the books on my bucket list I have read before but remember they were really good and feel I need to brush up on them. They are all by the same author, a friend of mine's grandpa who lived in the town I grew up in and was even in my stake- W. Cleon Skousen. Every book of his is amazing. He also wrote The 5,000 year leap that is used for classes that teach about the Constitution- if you're interested in learning about the Constitution or even more about politics I highly recommend it! I'm not a big political person so it was great to help me understand how things work and the differences between some of the terms we hear so often but may not fully understand.
I highly recommend these and all of his books! I'm sure they're available on Amazon.
My list as of now includes:
When I make it through these books I'll share the next ones I'll be reading. But for now I don't want to bite off more than I can chew :)
