Temple Blocks

This year I made these cute Temple blocks for my girls for their spiritual Christmas gift.  They were so easy and turned out super cute!  I got the idea from Pinterest (surprise surprise).  The site I got the idea from is: A girl and a glue gun however I must admit, I didn't even go to her site until today since I used the picture on Pinterest for inspiration and the project was just that easy to do.  Checking out her site today though it's super cute and looks like a lot of adorable projects I just may have to try in the future!

 How to make these:

First get your blocks cut (I already had some from my last project)

Sand the edges so they are smooth

Paint the block the color you want- I chose black to offset the white from the Temple picture.

Print off your picture of the Temple you want to use (on cardstock is best)- I found one of the SLC Temple that I easily added the "I'm going there someday" phrase to, feel free to use mine:

Next use your Mod Podge to attach the picture to the block.

Once it's dry, attach your ribbon of choice.  I tied the knot around 4 short strands of 2 different colors and sizes of ribbon for color and cuteness.  I made 4 and did a couple different ribbon colors-

Super easy!
