Legoland Tshirts

For our Family Vacation we made as many matching shirts as possible for the places we'd be going to.  Today's post is the Legoland tshirts I made.  Our family is a big fan of the LEGO movie, especially the Batman quotes.  So we let the each person pick their favorite quote then I used my silhouette to cut out a coordinating picture and the quote out of heat transfer vinyl, ironed it on, and there you have it! Legoland tshirts!


Here's the shirts in order of youngest to oldest starting with the baby's-

 It's almost impossible to find a plain grey onesie, and I even had a hard time finding a size 6-9 month shirt!  We had to settle with a 12 month shirt, so I gathered the bottom a little and sewed on tulle to make it into a dress.  We thought the "first try" quote would be funny since she's the 6th child.
In hind sight- the quote "why are my pants cold and wet?" would also have been a good quote!

We realized later the actual quote is "I WILL text you" , oh well.

 Marshall wanted good cop/bad cop asking if you wanted a glass of water, but getting bad cop's face drawn up and formated for the silhouette was time consuming enough so he had to settle for this.

 Another misquote- we realized later it's "one of those ideas sounds awesome" 

My shirt should be here- but due to wardrobe malfunction it wasn't finished until after the rest were packed.  Mine has the batman logo on it and says "We'll Wing It"

The heat transfer vinyl was a little tricky- but these shirts actually did the best with the vinyl staying on!
