Last Man on Earth

This show started fairly recently and I was a little cautious at first and not sure if I was going to watch it.  Mostly because you just don't know how clean new tv shows are going to be these days.  But I gave it a chance and watched the first episode. Last Man on Earth, it's an interesting concept that has got my hubby and I talking about all sorts of possibilities and ideas.  This show is HILARIOUS! From the first time I started watching it I was laughing, then as we watched each episode you felt incredibly....
Awkward on behalf of Phil (the last man on earth, or so he thinks).  My hubby said it reminded him of watching Michael (Steve Carell's Character) on The Office.  So awkward, but so funny at the same time.

Interestingly enough, this show concept brings up some interesting things that normally would be a big no-no in other shows, but because of their circumstances you know that you would probably do the same thing.

For example, shopping includes breaking the window/front door then just taking whatever you want. Ok that would actually be fun I think haha

Phil soon meets Carol, and his excitement over finally not being alone AND the fact that she's a woman is quickly gone the more he is around her..... let's say "unique" personality.

The plot only thickens over the next couple of episodes!

It's a show that I wont let my kids watch- mostly for the concepts and discussion on procreation.  There is no nudity and the "procreation" scenes are handled very well and basically them talking while sitting in bed, but just the theme and concept is more adult than my kids typically watch.

The idea has brought a lot of thoughts and questions though-  from what we would do if we were in that position to questions about the show such as "where are all the dead bodies?" All that has been said was that there was a "virus" that killed off everyone.

You can watch the show on Hulu- check it out if you're in need of a good laugh!
