So basically how it works is once you have the app you select groceries (or other items) and pick a store.  It really doesn't matter which store you unlock the rebates in because once you unlock a rebate it will work for any store.

Look through the rebates and you'll see items you probably regularly buy (milk, bread, cereal, tomatoes, bananas, etc) some will be generic looking meaning you can buy ANY brand, and some things will be brand specific (Tide laundry soap etc).

To unlock a rebate you just tap on the product, then it will give you the option to unlock it.  Sometimes you have to watch a 20 second video, sometimes you have to answer a 1 or 2 question survey, and sometimes it's something even more simple like "learn a fact" or "see a recipe".  It literally takes a matter of seconds.  Then the rebate will unlock.

When you go to the store, buy the items you normally would and then when you get home scan the item bar code, then your receipt and that's it! Some stores you can even connect your store card so you don't have to scan products & receipts- it automatically gives you the rebates you've unlocked! Ibotta will put your rebates in a account and once you have a $10 minimum they'll transfer it to Paypal!

At first I wasn't sure it was worth it- but I've been using it for about a month now and my Ibotta balance is over $25! I'm saving it up for some extra Christmas money!  

Oh and the best part is you can use it on TOP of sales & coupons!!!
