It's here! The first day of school for the 2015-2016 school year. I confess I'm not the best at remembering to take first and last day of school pictures, so I'm pretty impressed that I remembered to take this one this morning- and it was even BEFORE the kids went to school!!
Now what to do with my day of only 2 kids at home? Cleaning- it will actually STAY clean! Relaxing- without having to referee fights all day, talk on the phone-without being interrupted 100 times, take a nap (that is if I can get both girls to nap at the same time), the possibilities are endless!
Not that I can't do any of these things when my kids are home, but it sure adds challenges and delays to them.
And I think a hot batch of chocolate chip cookies just as the kids are getting home from school is a perfect way to end their first day of school!
