These are an easy 10 minute cookie for last minute guests/events etc. And I justify they are more healthy than regular cookies because they have oatmeal in them!
1 cup (2 cubes) butter- softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
2 cups flour
2-3 cups quick oats
1/2- 2/3 bag of chocolate chips
Mix all, spoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes. For soft-chewy cookies take them out as they just barely start to get brown and might look a little undercooked still. Cook longer for crispy cookies.
