Homemade Baby Food- squash & carrots

This week I made some more homemade baby food- Acorn Squash and carrots.

Addie is LOVING the baby food I made last week.  It was so easy, and I know exactly what's in it, PLUS it's cheap!!  I don't think I'll buy baby food anymore!

For the acorn squash I just cut them in half, then steamed them in my Tupperware Smart Steamer (AWESOME product, you really should get one! www.mytupperware.com/jodeemason) Then I scooped it out into another awesome Tupperware product- the smooth chopper.  This allowed me to puree the squash smooth, then I poured it into an ice tray where I froze it as individual servings.

Once frozen I put the cubes into a ziploc bag and each meal time I just pop one of them into the microwave for 25 seconds, add a little oatmeal or rice cereal and feed the baby!  It couldn't be easier!
