Sweet Onion sauce

Another pinterest recipe tried- the results are: AMAZING!  You can get the original recipe here.  When I made this it turned out more like a sauce than a dip- not sure what I did differently, but the flavor was amazing! We ended up pouring it over our chicken.  Even my kids liked this sauce.

Here's how you make it:
melt 1 T butter in a frying pan
once it's melted add in 1 medium onion sliced

Cook until onion has a nice brown caramelization.  Then pour them into a food processor along with:

2 T apple cider vinegar
2 T honey
1 T prepared mustard
process until smooth then add 1 cup mayo.

Like I said when I made this it turned out more like a sauce (runny) than a dip.  We had this dip with baked zucchini fries (we got the recipe from the same web page) and over some baked chicken (another pinterest recipe we tried! will be posted soon)
