Food Storage Chef Giveaway

Are you working on building your food storage, or wishing you had one? Well make sure to enter this giveaway!  Food Storage Chef makes freeze-dried meals that you just add water to.  They are easy, taste great, and offer your family a quick easy meal in times of emergency.
I was able to sample a couple of their meals- the Mozzarella Penne Rigate with Beef was my favorite.  I hope to try the scrambled eggs with bacon soon. (those just sound so interesting to me!)

Some of these are better if simmered in the water, and some are as easy as boiling water, mixing it in with the entree and letting it sit for a few minutes.
When we made the chicken and rice casserole one we identically added too much water- so it was more of a soup.  My husband liked it, it was a little watered down flavor wise for me (as you can imagine by adding too much water) but not too bad.

The cans have a 30 year shelf life unopened, and approximately 8-9 month shelf life once opened.  Not bad!

If you are someone who doesn't know how to cook these are GREAT because it's the whole meal for you- meat and all. (with hamburger helper you'd have to provide the meat separate  and even then it's not packaged for the shelf life these are)

If you are someone like me who loves to cook, these are nice to have on hand as a supplement for those days when life gets crazy and you just don't have time to cook.

Now, because you know I'm against most processed foods let me tell you how glad I was to find out that these don't contain any MSG. (phewf!)

ok now for the good part- Food Storage Chef has graciously offered to give one of my readers a 72 hour kit for 2 (valued at $90) AND $100 off select family packages.

You can go to their website and request a FREE SAMPLE: www.foodstoragechef.com

Don't miss out!  Some of these entries you can get EACH DAY! -be sure to tag us in your blog posts ( type @a to z for moms like me and our name will come up to be tagged)
