Not me, my daughter! She's running for student body photographer in student council. Needless to say we spent the evening making posters such as this one for her to put up at the school today. I remember when I was in middle school and wanted to run for student council, my mom was out of town at the time and my older sister ended up helping me with my campaign but it wasn't the same. Needless to say I didn't make it, and I lost any ambition to run again in future years which I wish I had done.
So when she told me she wanted to run I was game on to help and support her! If she doesn't make it, at least we've done what we could. I hope she does though! She's always been more of a shy kid in public so anything she shows an interest in that will help build her confidence and get her out of her shell a bit more is exciting.
Since her last name is Ashe- we did a play on words and made her slogan "Vote Kenzie Ashe, the best with a Flash" And painted the flash symbol on all her posters. Hopefully it will help her be remembered and stand out!

Voting is next week! Now I just need to come up with ideas for candy or party favors to pass out to about 200 kids.....
