Some things seen on pinterest are a lot harder to do then they look! Take for example the suggestion of doing a watermelon with a baby inside it for a baby shower I was helping with. This was the best I could come up with. But luckily it only took about 10 minutes to make so that's a plus!
First I cut the watermelon into a bassinet shape, removed the watermelon, and then cut off the outside of a cantaloupe (for the baby head)
It was at this point that we realized the head barely fit into the watermelon and the picture we had been looking at on pinterest was done with a MUCH larger watermelon! Oh well, we moved on.
For the eyes I used tooth picks stuck into the cantaloupe and attached grapes cut in half. the binky was a slice of the bottom of an apple, then a whole grape in the middle of it.
