Homemade Dishwasher Soap
If you run out of dishwasher soap- don't let those dishes pile up! You can use 3 ingredients you probably (or at least should) have in your house. Whether you use these all the time, in a pinch, or in an emergency when you forget to buy dishwasher soap (like I've done which led me to this idea) give it a try! The ingredients are pretty cheap and like I said you probably have them on hand.
in your dishwasher soap dispenser put 2 teaspoons of Oxiclean, 1/2 t. of dish soap (seriously don't put more than that in or you will have an overflow of bubbles! I accidentally dumped more than I wanted to and even though I mopped up a bunch of it I still had a bit of a bubble over-flow.
Then inside the bottom of the dishwasher pour about 1/2 cup of vinegar. I used my orange peel infused vinegar.
This idea was found on Pinterest -here's the website One Good Thing
