Last Man on Earth Season 2

It's Fall! Which means all the new tv show seasons are premiering, the cliffhanger season finale's are being resolved and your favorite shows are continuing.  One show that my husband and I enjoyed watching was Las Man on Earth.  It's one that we don't allow the kids to watch- simply because the concept is an intriguing one, but with the show having what seems to be the last man AND the last woman on earth topics such as repopulating are covered.  Even though there is not anything shown in the scenes- and they do end up making us laugh due to what is said and the situations, it's not something that is kid appropriate.  Married adults will find it hilarious.
For me, I love the concept!  So far all that's been said is that there was some virus that killed everyone.  There has yet to show any dead bodies, or talk about what happened to all the bodies etc. So the show focuses on a lighter and more funny part of what happens when the population is so drastically reduced.

Being honest, I have totally fantasized many many times about what it would be like to all of the sudden be one of the only people left on earth.  Wandering around, all the empty houses, stores, etc.  Being able to do and use whatever you want for whatever you want.  Everything is a free for all.

Back to the show though- it's 2 episodes into the second season and we are loving it once again!  Season 1 started out great, but then somewhere in the middle the show got less funny and more stressful then it ended funny and good again in the last couple episodes.  So far the first 2 episodes are just as good or better than the best ones in season 1.  If anything these new episodes are more clean and more funny.

By saying the middle of last season's episodes were stressful what I mean is- they were the type that you were constantly wanting to tell people in the show that they were just digging their hole deeper! No one was communicating what was really going on, and a few important details being left out of conversations were having huge effects on everyone.  Those types of shows where you spend a good majority of the time thinking "why don't they just tell the truth?!?!"

So here's to season 2! Hoping it's a great one!
