Airplane theme baby shower

A friend had her baby and so another friend and I threw her a baby shower.  Her baby was born early so we went with the "He's Arrived" theme.  I found a base to a cute invite, then altered it to the colors, fonts, etc. that worked for us.  Since her nursery theme is Airplanes we made that the theme of the shower too.  Here's some of the things we did-

I made banners to use as decorations with my silhouette (seriously the BEST investment ever).  I imported the plane shape and cut those out to use on the banners. Sadly I didn't get any pics of the banner once it was finished and up :(  But it turned out really cute!

My kids helped me make these little airplane favors out of sticks of gum (we wrapped them in card stock that matched the banners, a smarties and 2 life savers.

I printed up some labels for the drink cups, as well as a name tag for my friend and I - we dressed as flight attendants.

Games: We played "Baggage Claim" which was my version of the purse game.  Each person gets points for having specific things in their bag such as: safety pin, keys, phone, invitation, medicine, tampon etc.
The second game we played was "Guess the Airline Food"- where I took baby food containers out of the wrapper and wrote numbers on them, guests had to guess what type of food was in each jar.

For the dessert we found this really cute idea called Cloud Parfait on Pinterest of course.  My friend put them into disposable champagne glasses from the dollar store.  All they are is blue jello that's set up, then scooped into the cups with layers of cool whip to look like sky & clouds.  They turned out so cute!
