It's the last day of the year.... the last day of 2015. Doesn't the time seem to fly by?!? My husband and I were talking this morning about how good this year was. I think it was largely because we made a plan at the first of the year to make it so. We created a 2015 vision poster with all the things we wanted to do this past year and we pretty much did everything. A couple things got adapted to something else that turned out to work better, and only 3 things got delayed to next year. It's given us a excitement to see that we can accomplish whatever we put our mind to. So for 2016 we are going to make another vision poster! Here's a few of what our plans for next year are-
After such a successful family vacation for Spring break last year we decided we're going to make that a yearly tradition. Family time is so important. These trips create fun family memories, give my husband and I a chance to take a break from work and focus on the kids and each other for 1 week. If you don't take family vacations yet I highly recommend you start planning one!
In 2016 we plan to go to CA for a week in March and go to: Universal Studios, Legoland, Knottsberry Farm, and Medieval Times. We'll also fit in some shopping and of course a day at the beach weather permitting.
In June, Scott should be able to start his franchisee training for Dominos and with any luck we'll be able to open our own franchise by the end of the year- which also means moving and a new house (BIG YAY!)
For now at least, the last half of the year is dependent on what happens with Dominos..... so there's only so much planning we can do.
Spring time will bring some exciting things with my school program Raising Superheroes, and maybe even a couple short trips.
Project wise we have our travel trailer that needs to be painted, have flooring put in, and then we'll figure out what we're going to do with the inside as far as beds/table etc. We may sell it and buy another one, or just keep it and use it. Still debating that.....
Since we're hoping to move by the end of the year that limits the food storage and furniture projects I would normally do- BUT it does give me good reason to clean, organize and get rid of things which is also nice.
What are your goals/plans for the coming up year?
