If you've had a hard time getting your kids to eat certain foods like I have, here are some tricks and ideas that I have done:
· 3 bites- tell them they only have to
eat 3 bites of each item
· Dessert afterwards- make a nice
dessert as a reward to those that eat.
· Combine them with something they
love- pizza, casseroles are great!
· Making them in a fun way- mashed
& gravy look like hot fudge sundae, curly, faces or designs. (let them
sculpt their own food art)
· If all else fails- disguise!! Cauliflower with mashed potatoes, carrots in
gravy, spinach in smoothies
