Have you ever tried Chicago style popcorn? Oh my goodness!! We had some at our family reunion over Memorial Day weekend. At first I thought it was a nasty idea- cheese popcorn mixed with caramel popcorn. Really? Who would ever think of mixing those two?!?! But being the fan of popcorn that I am it wasn't much of an arm twist to get me to try it.
Once tried it was addicting! The particular brand I tried was from Costco and sells for about $5/bag. So we had to make a stop in at Costco on our way out of town and get 3 bags- 1 for each car (hubby and I went at different times so we had 2 cars) and 1 to have at home. It was a perfect travel snack to help keep us awake too.
Seriously, it sounds and even looks like an odd and gross combination, but give it a try and you may be surprised!
