Homemade EASY chicken coop

Remember how I took those cabinets out of our house and replaced them with bookcases?  If not, you've got some catching up to do!  Well the cabinets were falling apart.  Instead of trashing them, we came up with a way to re purpose them as homemade EASY chicken coops.  After searching on Pinterest for chicken coop ideas, and concluding I'm not that skilled, this was my easy solution.
I turned them so that the cupboard doors were facing outside, and stacked the 6 cabinets 2 high and made a U shape.
The back of the cabinets were that thin cardboard type stuff that basically just provides stability for the cabinet.  So I cut a hole big enough for a chicken to get in, and had 1 shelf in the middle of each cabinet dividing it in half inside.  I cut a hole at the top and one at the bottom so that each cabinet would provide a nest for 2 chickens.

We then put a tarp over the cabinets for rain and sun coverage, but unfortunately didn't get it on before a rain storm hit and some of the back cardboard got wet and warped a little.  So it's going to need a repair job or replacement of those areas affected.

The cupboard doors are perfect to open up and get eggs. (when we finally get some) And the chickens really seem to enjoy their new home.
Here's a picture of how big the chickens have gotten so far-
