Jamberry Nails Review

Have you heard of Jamberry Nails yet?  If not you've probably seen all the really cute and intricate detailed nail styles lately and wondered how people have such stead hands to paint them on!  Well here's the secret- they're stickers!  Jamberry nails are vinyl stickers that go on your nails and stay for up to 2 weeks making them look professional, designer, and even add strength to your nails.  See the ones I tried out-
My friend Laura sells Jamberry Nails ( www.jamwithlaura.jamberrynails.net) so this review is for her.  Each sheet costs $15 and has enough to do 4 sets of nails- and if you're really good like Laura is you can also get a couple sets of toe nails out of it too!

Here's some of the tools-

So here we have one sheet of the vinyl stickers, a manicure set with it's matching bag, and a small heater.  You can use a blow dryer instead of the heater if you want.

How to apply them:

1) Wash your hands with soap
2) Push your cuticles back
3) wipe down your nails with rubbing alcohol
4) find the right size vinyl sticker for each nail by holding the sheet up to your nail

5) using the wooden cuticle pusher in your manicure set roll half of the vinyl sticker off the sheet then cut it in half (this is so you can use the other side for another set of nails in the future)
6) place the vinyl sticker on your nail and use a rubber ended cuticle pusher to smooth it onto your nail going down the center of the nail first.

7) wrap a plastic bag around the nail and hold it in front of the heater or blow dryer for 5 seconds.  This creates a type of shrink wrap to help smooth out any bumps.

8) smooth out the nail again

9) once all of the vinyl stickers are on your nails take a nail file and holding it straight up and down file the edges of your nails to take off the excess vinyl sticker. (similar to how you file paper with scrapbooking)
