Awesome Week 7

It's Awesome Week 7 in our 52 weeks of Awesome Challenge! How are you doing? Are you loving the new recipes? Saving up some money? Getting things done? Building up your food storage? House getting cleaned and organized? Strengthening and making new relationships? Feeling better about yourself?  If not, get going on this weeks tasks!
Here's the mini list for this week to print off and have as a reminder:

Let's look at this week in detail:

Week 7:
Receipts & Tax Documents
  • It's tax season! That means it's time to get your receipts and tax documents together to file your taxes.
  • Keep them together in a file or folder for easy reference each year.
Long Term Filing System
  • If you're frustrated with the chaos of tax time and wasting time trying to find paperwork now is a good time to create a long term filing system!
  • Buy a filing cabinet, crate, or other container to hold your files and important documents throughout the year.
Set aside $5-20
  • Each week set aside $5-20 depending on your financial situation.  Put the money in a safe place where you wont be tempted to dip into it.
  • You should have a pretty good stash building up! Don't let yourself dip into it! Think of the end result you want.

Chicken & Broccoli Casserole
Read an article about someone you admire
  • It's important to be reminded about the people you admire and their attributes you would like to have.
  • This week read something about someone you admire and ponder on the traits they have and what you could do to be like them.
Do 3 Random acts of Kindness
  • Pay it forward!  3 random acts of kindness this week could be anything from holding a door open for someone, leaving a dollar taped to a vending machine, paying for the meal of the person behind you at the drive thru, writing a nice note (anonymously), taking goodies to someone's door and knocking then running away, you get the point!
  • This week make the world a better place for at least 3 people!
  • If you need more inspiration watch this cute video:

Buy 20 lbs of Sugar
  • your food storage will be adding up!
  • I keep my sugar, flour and rice in 5 gallon buckets.  You can buy the buckets for just a few dollars at Walmart or hardware stores.
