Travel Kit for Kids

When you go on a family vacation, life will be MUCH easier if you prepare a travel it for your kids!  Travel kits give your kids something to do on a long trip.  It's best if you include new items, or items they don't get to play with very often.  Here are a few of the items I put in my kids' kits for our most recent family vacation-
Using my new toy- a Silhouette Cameo I cut out some vinyl in Disney fonts for each kids' name and some Mickey heads.
I put their name and a Mickey Head on a notebook and included a pen. (my kids are old enough to read and write so this kept them busy playing games, taking notes, and journaling during the trip.  My 3 year old that doesn't write yet just used it to color)

I also put their name on a water bottle so they each had their own for the full trip.

At the dollar store I was able to find some Disney and Star Wars themed items which worked perfectly since we were going to Disneyland!
I got a cross word puzzle book
PEZ dispensers
Puzzles

I also had some wall stickers I had bought at the dollar store years ago- we let the kids put these on the insides of the car windows, you would not believe how much they entertained them!

I found some mini card games- apples to apples and UNO that we gave each kid

Lastly, we put 1 package of candy in each kids' bag

It was a fun surprise for my kids- they couldn't wait to get on the road and see what was in their bags!
