It's like Subway for Pizza!! When we were on our family vacation we stopped to get dinner at a shopping center in Riverside, CA. There were 3 pizza places in the shopping center so we asked one of the security guards there (he's there a lot so we figured he'd have the best idea) which pizza place was the best, he told us to go to The Blaze. So we stopped in and had dinner at The Blaze Pizza and oh my holy deliciousness!! I wish we had one closer to us! You go down the line just like at Subway and tell them what you want on your pizza as they put it on, then they cook the pizza for 90 seconds and it's done!
Because the pizzas are cooked so quickly they are a thinner crust, and end up being about 10" round. Perfect for 1 adult or a couple kids to share.
I loved the fact that we could each get exactly what we wanted without having to worry about if anyone else liked it or was in the mood for it too.
And the taste was AMAZING!!! Scott and I talked about how much we would love to open a place like that where we live. We've talked in the past about doing a pizza place with the assembly line like Subway- that would be a cool idea, and we finally got to see it in action. They are looking to open some franchises in AZ....... hummmm.
Oh and did I mention they had a HUGE line and were super busy- but since the whole process was so fast even standing in a long line didn't take that long. Their reputation keeps them busy I'm sure. When we got in line there was a guy behind us that asked us if we had been there before and we said no- he told us it was his first time too, but that his friends have raved about it and keep telling him he needs to go.
So on your next family trip be sure to see if there is a Blaze Pizza close by! Here's their website where you can see their locations and other information.
This post wasn't paid for or endorsed by The Blaze Pizza in any way- we just were so impressed we wanted to share the info! :)
Of course if The Blaze reads this and wants to show appreciation we wouldn't turn down some gift cards for our next trip! (wink wink)
