I love putting headbands on my girls, but sometimes keeping them on is a bigger hassle then it's worth. Not because they take them off- but because they just slide off their heads. So I came up with this hairstyle to hold a headband in place. It not only dressed up her hair a little fancy but it worked to hold the headband in place and give a little color to her hairstyle.
To do the hairstyle I parted a section of her hair in front of the headband, braided 2 parts, then putting the headband on I added some hair behind the headband into the braid.
It's pretty easy to do. I've also seen similar things done with small ponytails and created a fishnet type look.
