One of the things I miss most often in Utah is this amazing Honey Butter sauce!!! You can use it on biscuits, waffles, and lots of other things but my favorite is on top of a fresh hot scone (or fry bread is what some people call it) So our last trip to Utah I made a point to buy a few of them to bring home. Needless to say we had scones for dinner last night in celebration!
Here is their website I found where you can order them online! Sadly you have to order a case of 12, which may or may not be a sad thing if you find it as amazing as I do!
If you live in or close to Utah and have never tried this topping this website shows the locations where it's sold.
I find that honey butter FLAVORED topping to have an after taste like plastic. If you want really good honey butter year round that you don't have to buy by the case, you can just make it! 1 cup honey, 1 cup butter, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon (optional). Super yummy and ready when you are! :)
ReplyDeleteNice! I'll have to try that recipe! I thought I could duplicate this one by reading the ingredients, but it had far to many unknown/unhealthy ingredients so I'm glad to have a new recipe to try. Thanks for sharing!
