My niece got married recently and I wanted to give her something special for her bridal shower gift. Since we were already painting jars for her centerpieces (see this post) we had the paint of the colors she would be using in her house after the wedding- perfect!
So I whipped out a picture frame and my silhouette machine and got to work. After painting the wood frame I used mod pod and added a strip of glitter around the inside to add a little sparkle to it.
A few minutes of designing on the silhouette and I had a cute saying "Love laughter & happily ever after" with their last name, first names, and wedding date.
I took the back off the frame (this is a new trend that's actually pretty cool) so it will show the color of whatever wall they hang it on. If she doesn't like that style she can always just add a back of her own in whatever color she wants.
I did glue the glass to the frame in the back to make sure it stays in place.
