my favorite braid

This is one of my favorite ways to do a french braid-

separate the hair into 4 sections.  Start at one of the top corners and french braid as you normally would.  When you reach the back part stop gathering in hair and braid alone for 5-8 times (this is for the X look, if you don't wan that just continue to gather hair from the opposite side bottom section) then cross the braid over to the opposite side bottom section and start gathering in that hair and finish the french braid.  Then do the same thing on the other side.
