Sons of Provo

Last night my hubby and I watched this movie- it had been years for both of us since seeing it last.  If you are LDS, live in Utah, or know the LDS (Mormon) culture at all you will LOVE this movie!  It has a few of the same actors as The Singles Ward in it.

Basically it's about this wannabe LDS boy band.  The movie is filmed in a documentary type style and follows 3 guys around as they try to start their band.  They want to be a spiritual boy band as well, so all their songs are based around LDS lifestyles.  The movie is worth watching just for the sound track!!  We were laughing SOOOOO hard!

Some of their songs include "Sweet Spirit"- about a girl that's not pretty, but has a "sweet spirit", "word of Wizzum" this one is a semi-rap song about foods you should and shouldn't eat, and one of my favorites "Dang, Fetch, Oh My Heck" is a song about all the LDS swear words.

It's way funny just to see them think they are cooler than they really are- as they're all into it.  The picture says it all "Three guys, one dream, no clue"
