OMG. Can I just say words do not express how awesome these are!! So I LOVE the chocolate oranges that you can get only at Christmas time. So this experiment was based on those. And let me tell you they turned out AMAZING!
Cupcakes:
Chocolate Fudge Cake mix- make according to box directions
2 t. orange extract
Mix & bake like you would for normal cupcakes on the box.
Frosting:
1 cube butter- melted
1# or 1/2 package of powdered sugar ( I think it's about 4 cups)
1/3 c. cocoa powder
2 t. orange extract
1/2 t. salt
Milk to desired consistency- add a little at a time, it probably wont take more than 1/4 c.
