Diaper Cake

Here is a diaper cake I put together for a baby shower.  It was the first time I had attempted to make one and it really wasn't that hard.  Since I had some shrink wrap bags I couldn't make it too tall so just the base is diapers then we stacked all the fun baby stuff on top.

How you make these is just by rolling the diapers up and then adding more diapers until the length of the diaper isn't long enough to touch itself.  At this point is where it gets a little tricky.  I found that using scotch tape helped. (and it wont ruin the diapers for use later)  The best way I found was to wrap the scotch tape around the diapers, then add one diaper at a time while I taped it on.  You want to keep the diapers as tight as possible.

Any gaps or loose areas I did have I filled in by shoving items between them. (like the baby lotion)
