German Chocolate Truffles

I love me some German Chocolate (minus nuts at our house though) so I had to experiment with a truffle version.  I had those new Philadelphia chocolate cream cheese that I got with coupons for free so it was time to put it to use.  It was pretty easy and the result was a rich and delicious truffle.

Here's what you'll need:
1 milk chocolate Philadelphia cream cheese tub (the one pictured above is dark chocolate)
8 coconut dream cookies (aka samoas)- crushed
Chocolate flavored almond bark

Mix the cream cheese and cookies together well.  If the consistency is too thin you can either add more cookies or place in the freezer for a few minutes.
Place your chocolate flavored almond bark in the microwave, cook in 60 second increments being sure to stir it between.  OR you can place it in a glass bowl over a boiling pot of water.

Scoop the cream cheese mixture into the chocolate and coat well.  Use a fork to place the truffles onto waxed paper, they will harden and set up in about 10-15 minutes.
