Custom Notebooks

This year for our Spiritual gift for the kids we've chosen to give them all journals.  I wanted to personalize the journals for each kid and remembered learning how to make these custom notebooks years ago.  They are really easy and cheap to make, yet look super cute!
All you have to do is get some cute scrapbook paper, measure the size of the front (and back if you want) of the notebook and cute the scrapbook paper to fit.  Then glue it in place and decorate it with die cuts, stickers, stamps, ribbon, or anything else you want.

I like to always do a long strip down where the paper meets the notebook tape to cover any missing spots etc.

 

Once your paper is glued to the notebook be sure to trim the corners since notebooks usually have rounded corners and the scrapbook paper will not. (I find this easier to do once the paper is glued to the notebook, then just turn it over and follow the notebook with your scissors from the back of the scrapbook paper)
