Wanton Soup
For my detox/cleanse we made this wanton soup for dinner the first night. It was amazing! It tasted just as good if not better than I've had a good Chinese restaurants. Give it a try!
While at Costco last they were sampling these chicken & cilantro wantons. They were amazing so I bought a bag. They stay in your freezer until you're ready to use them.
Here's the recipe: (keep in mind I made a large batch for my family)
2 boxes of chicken stock
2 cups of water
(you can use any chicken stock, if you don't have any then you can use water & chicken bouillon until you get the desired taste)
1 can bamboo shoots
1 green onion (or about 1 T from my pre-cut frozen ones)
3 sections of bok choy- (Chinese cabbage- kind of like a cross between celery & cabbage)
Heat these until boiling, then add as many wantons as you'd like and cook for about 3 minutes.
This is a great weight loss recipe, and great for a cleanse too.
