Last minute Valentine's

I'm always on the look out for something original when it comes to Valentine's Day classroom pass-outs.  Sometimes life gets crazy and we do something a little more last minute than others.  This year I actually took the time to plan ahead, but it could easily be done in a short time frame if you need it to be.
At the dollar store a few weeks ago I saw these heart straws.  They came in packs of 6, so I grabbed a few packs.  Not sure what I was going to do with them at the time, but knowing they had potential for something awesome!

So I went on pinterest and searched for straw valentines, that's where I found this site:
It's Always Autumn

She has a free downloadable for the Valentine's like I used and is shown above.  All I had to do was print them off, cut them up, punch holes in the top and bottom and put the straw in!  They turned out super cute and were so fast to do!

Plus I can feel kinda good knowing I'm not passing out more candy to the kids, but still giving them something cool right?

If you're still looking for other free Valentine ideas check out some that I designed last year.

Also- I always stock up on Valentine's Gift bags after it's over when they're on clearance.  They make great Valentine's holders for kids in school.
