So awhile back I got these blank black Pleather banners..... I wasn't sure what to use them for at the time, but they were 90% off which made them like 10 cents a piece and I just couldn't pass that up because I knew they had potential!! The other day I got an idea of what to do with them- so I turned on my Silhouette machine and made this super cute Be-attitudes Banner. I LOVE it! Can I just say
HOW MUCH I LOVE MY SILHOUETTE CAMEO!?!?!?
Seriously, get one. It will be the best investment ever.
This is the kit I got (but I wasn't lucky enough to get it on sale so grab it and safe some money while you can!)
All I had to do was figure out the size and font I wanted to use, cut out the vinyl, apply it to the banners, then I thread the banners on some fabric strips I ripped (for a shabby look) off a sheet and then cut little strips to tie at each end of the grommet to hold the banners in place. Without those strips the banners wanted to slide or curl up on themselves.
Easy peasy! Took me about 30 minutes!
