Last night we were able to take our 5 kids to Disney on Ice- Rockin' Ever After. Let me just say- FUN!! The show featured a brief summary with highlighted songs from 4 popular Disney movies: The Little Mermaid, Tangled, Brave, and Beauty & the Beast. This was the first event like this my kids have ever gone to. They were mesmerized to say the least!
Here's a picture shortly after arriving- even Addie had her full attention on the show.
The first part of the show was from The Little Mermaid. It was pretty neat when Ariel got her "legs" she went up onto a rope where she did some cool stunts.
The movies were summarized going from song to song with a little dialog between- they covered all the most popular songs.
Next they did the movie Tangled
It started off with the "I got a dream" song with all the rough guys. They each had a pan which was funny.
I found that it was hard to get a good picture with all the movement! :D
She actually hit him over the head with the pan- TWICE! lol it wasn't a fake hit- she whacked him good.
The next movie they did was Brave.
I still haven't seen this movie- as a redhead with both Scottish and Irish heritage I'm kinda embarrassed to admit that! But this was neat, the music was great and it was cool to see how they implemented the Irish/Scottish dance into the ice skating.
And the last Movie was Beauty and the Beast. The guy that played Gustan (sp?) was a perfect fit! He was way built- bigger than you normally see ice skaters- even men.
All in all we loved the show! The kids loved it. And it was a great thing to go to and make some memories for our family.
We even got a family picture taken on our way out!
