Tupperware brought back one of it's coolest products ever! Ultra Pro pans came out in the new catalog starting in September 2013- and after using them I can say they are Ultra Awesome!! These pans are made of plastic- they can go in the freezer, microwave, or OVEN!! Say what?!? That's right, plastic that can withstand oven temperatures. This past week I made some bread- pictures say more than words so look below-
When I made a batch of half wheat half white bread this week I used 3 ultra pro loaf pans and 1 of my metal standard loaf pans. Boy did I notice a difference!
Even though all the pans were oiled the same, the metal pan stuck and the loaf came out less than perfect. The ultra pro pans however the bread just slid right out! This is what the inside of the pan looked like afterwards-
It's almost as clean as before I used it!
Plus, look at the perfect cooking on the bread- my oven in this house is pretty awful so even cooking is REALLY saying something!
When it came to washing these pans I was even more pleasantly surprised- talk about quick and easy! I was used to having to soak my metal pans and scrub them good, but with the ultra pro pans they barely needed a wiping.
I am SOLD on these pans! I can't wait to add to my collection and get all the sizes and more loaf pans.
