Multi Cultural Cooking Network


I was lucky enough to be able to interview the president of Muti Cultural Cooking Network (MCCN), Crystal Johnson on our radio show.  You can listen to the archived show here:

She explained what the MCNN webpage is about and all the awesome references on it.  It's not just about cooking, but all things cultural! (I'm sure that's not proper English there, but you get what I'm saying)  You can click on the links for different countries and learn about the culture, foods, traditions, and so much more.  The website is really cool!  I wish I would have used it while our exchange students were staying with us from Taiwan.

There is also a section called Kids Corner- it has articles written by kids and is full of information and activities geared to younger readers.  I can't wait until one of my kids needs to do a report in school on another country.

One thing we talked about is how there are different food pyramids for different countries.  I have never thought about that! Very interesting.
